yesterday was a day of gatherings with old frenz and realli good frenz..
1stly, it was a lunch meeting with my dear sista, HH, at her house. She bought lunch for me, so I went over to her place to enjoy my favourite meal, fish soup with rice.;)
Despite having seen each other for the past 1 week in HK, we still have so much to share and suan each other about. It's amazing how much details we know about each other and still have room for more!~ It's like a never-ending conversation!~ SImply MIRACULOUS!
2ndly, i went to Compass Point to pass Jianing, another Cedar junior, my sleeping bag for her Science Faculty camp tomolo~ :) She's still so adorable and innocent-looking~ Msssed chatting with her! She's a very mature and happie-go-lucky person. Taught me so many things tonite. (not literally though) It's like i got to see life in a different point of view, and it suddenly dawned on me tat i've been taking too many things for granted. We watched Channel U's superstar together, and we had a great time luffing at the dances. hahaz..it's quite enjoyable to watch tv with some1 near ya age. Sometimes, i realli wish to have a sibling of my own. Wonder how different i would b if i have a sibling to take care of and worri for.
3rdly, Sylvia drove all the way from her hse, juz to see mi! But I think i'm a lousy navigator. I acutalli told her the wrong directions and she got lost in SK. felt so guilty so i treated her to supper at Rivervale mall. There's a nice cafe, like Ya Kun, selling yummy french toasts and teh bing. She kept on telling me SK is so "happening",,hahaz (SK is like a maze to her~ )Anyway, i simply missed gossiping / chit-chatting with her, about her hostel life in Aussie Land. She told me that she had toned down a lot tis sem, like going for less suppers and outings. So she scored 3 distinctions and 1 credit! Congratulations ger! Keep up the good grades and hope more distinctions come flying in for ya! Everytime we chat, i'm just so amazed by Sylvia's enthusiam in sharing and her ability to remember so much about others, although she'll occassionally mix up her details.hahaz..SHa Da Jie~ But i'm simply captivated by her sincerity and frankness~ Ger, thanks for being such a great fren and thanks for meeting up every time u're back in S'pore~ Really appreciate your effort in maintaining our frenship although we only knew each other for a short time~
So, tat almost sums up my encounter yesterday~ dunno why, but i suddenly felt tat life is just so wonderful and I'm truly blessed with such great frenz.. frenz tat made mi feel so homely, so comfortable, so "myself". i remembered myself questioning the value of frenship a few entries ago, but yet now i'm here to praise the frenships tat i've forged. It sounds quite contradicting but i'm realli taking on a new perspective about frenship. Frenz may not b there, but u noe they're always there..for u..
Realli luv all the ger frenz i have.. esp those close ones..and u noe who u're.. realli thankful for all of ya presence.. no matter how short u've stayed during my life journey, i juz wanna tell u all, my darlings, u're the greatest gift life has given to me!
